The short version.

You choose every photo Rollsters sees. Before a photo leaves your phone it is shrunk to 768 pixels and its location and camera data are removed. We use it once to make your card and do not keep the photo on our servers. We never sell your data.

Who we are

Rollsters is made by Axynto ("we", "us"). This policy covers the Rollsters app for Android and iPhone and this website. Questions: support@axynto.com.

What we collect and why

DataWhy
Your account: sign-in ID, email address and display name from Google or Apple Sign-InTo keep your cards, progress and purchases on your account across devices.
Photos you pick to forgeTo create a card. See "Your photos" below.
Game data: cards, card text and stats, binder, battles, streaks, shards and settingsTo run the game and save your progress.
A fingerprint (hash) of each forged photoSo the same photo can't be forged twice. A hash can't be turned back into the photo.
Purchase records: product, date and status, from Google Play or the App StoreTo unlock Roll Pro and items you bought. We never see your card number.
Usage counts, such as how many forges you used todayTo apply daily limits and prevent abuse.
Advertising ID, only if the app shows adsTo show and measure ads. You can reset or limit it in your phone settings. Roll Pro removes ads.

We do not collect your contacts, precise location, microphone or your full photo library.

Your photos

  • Rollsters uses the system photo picker. The app can only open the photos you select, never your whole gallery.
  • On your phone, the photo is resized to at most 768 pixels and saved as a new JPEG. This removes location (GPS) and camera data.
  • An on-device safety check screens out explicit images before anything is uploaded.
  • The resized photo is sent over an encrypted connection to our server, which asks Google's Gemini AI model (on Google Cloud) to describe it so we can write the card. The photo is not stored on our servers after the card is made.
  • The card picture is drawn on your phone. Card art that shows a person is never shown publicly to other players.
  • Card roasts are about the photo's subject and moment, never about how anyone looks.

Who we share data with

We use these service providers to run Rollsters. They process data for us under their own terms and security rules:

  • Google Firebase (sign-in, database, server functions) and Google Cloud Gemini (reading photos to write cards).
  • Google Play Billing, Apple App Store and RevenueCat (managing subscriptions and purchases).
  • Google AdMob, only if the app shows ads.
  • Stripe and a print partner, only if you order a physical print, to take payment and ship your order.

We do not sell your personal data or share it for anyone else's marketing. We may disclose data if the law requires it.

How long we keep it

  • Account and game data: until you delete your account.
  • Photos: not kept after the card is made.
  • Purchase records: as long as tax and accounting law requires.

Deleting your data

You can delete any card in the app. To delete your account and all its game data, use the delete option in the app's settings, or email support@axynto.com from the address on your account. We delete it within 30 days. Cancelling Roll Pro is done in Google Play or the App Store; deleting your account does not cancel a subscription by itself.

Children

Rollsters is for people aged 13 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has an account, email us and we will delete it.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit and stored with Google Cloud. Access is limited to what is needed to run the game.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example the EU, UK or California), you can ask to see, correct, export or delete your data, or object to how we use it. Email support@axynto.com and we will reply within 30 days. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.

International transfers

Our providers may process data in the United States and other countries. They use standard safeguards for these transfers.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date above, and tell you in the app for important changes.
